Bob Marley (shown here) is honored with a restaurant at Universal Orlando. Jimmy Buffett has his Margaritaville Cafes and, of course, there are the world famous Hard Rock Cafes. Fats Domino, Trini Lopez, Gloria Estefan and Pat Boone have (or had) excursions into the restaurant biz. Music is the ambience and the food and libation... well, mostly touristy. Some musicians and singers have built enduring dining successes: Sammy Haggar (of Van Halen fame) owns the Cabo Wabo in Cabo San Lucas. Jim Croce's family legacy, besides his great songs, is the Croce Restaurant and Jazz Bar in San Diego. In this decade, others have gotten into the food and music game.
